Is there anywhere to order Hondata online?

I'd like to order the complete ECU, but the local company is charging too much (padding the US/Canadian conversion) so I'd prefer to buy it online.

I went through a lot of the dealer websites, but didn't find one that you could order online. Anyone know of one?

Actually, I ordered mine online through SlowMotion Motorsports in Columbus, OH. I simply emailed them with my request, they emailed me a form and purchase order to complete, I printed them out and packed them with my ECU and shipped it off to Hondata.

Less than 48-hour turnaround and a really good price.

Yeah, I'm curious as well.

I am wanting to order the whole ECU - not just the reflash since I don't want to have downtime or dealer issues.

Well if you go to the Hondata website it will give you a list of dealers you can purchase it from now the price that is listed on there is set price now the dealers can give it to you for less now if they want too but not for more than it's listed for I purchased a reflash for my 06 civic si 2 years ago and now I am getting one for for my 09 rdx from Church automotive there the ones that helped Hondata with tuning for the Rdx reflash and im also getting a church custom built exhaust from them in 2 weeks with the reflash I just gave my deposit down .

I've been to the webstie with the dealer list. To save myself 5-10 minute phone calls to all of them asking for price, shipping cost, shipping method etc, I figured I could just do it online.

Ordering stuff from the US can be a huge headache for Canadians if they ship it the wrong way.

Here is a list of dealers in Canada if it's to much of a hassle to order from dealers in the U.S that way they ship it Canadian as for cost like I said it's $595 or less in U.S DOLLARS as for the shipping the dealer or freight or packaging company could only give you the cost for that . Hope this helps .

That would be the route I would go as well, but is it truly imperceptible that you've swapped ECUs to the dealer? Is the odometer on a seperate computer, or on the ECU?

Its a shame that Hondata won't just ship direct when it comes to a complete swap.

can you clear something up....are you having Church put on the Hondata reflash (because they offer that service now) or are you getting a Church reflash ?

reason im asking is because i know they developed their own reflash for use w/their exhaust but it didnt seem like that was ever offered to the public, at least not outside of where they are located

According to Hondata, that info is stored elsewhere. Im guessing it has to be hardwired into the car somehow, especially something like the ODO.

Also, i asked about the idle learn, maybe some of us skipped over that...according to Hondata, the replacement ECU will not have to go through the idle learn procedure.

Any idea if swapping affects the Maintenance Minder? The only time I'd swap is when going in for service to avoid having my flash "reflashed" from Acura and to avoid any warranty headaches.

What does the Re-flash do to the RDX? does it improve the gas mileage? Power? Does it increase gas consumption?
