Tech vs. Base Settings Change?

So I have a question after looking through my owners manual and playing around on the car. I have a base RDX, and I cannot find out how to get into the customization settings (ie make one unlock button press to undo all the doors, change child lock timers, interior lights, etc).

It appears the Tech pkg has a few unique buttons to navigate these menus, but nothing on the Base? If so, this is a very strange feature to leave off the Base - seems basic to me...

Uh, that was the question...does the menu exist on the Base, and if so, how do you get to it.

Most of the settings you mentioned are not available on the base model. You can change the auto lock/unlock behavior of the door locks and a few other things. The instructions are in the owners manual, it's done via the door lock buttons and the key in ignition.

yes as c-hunter said ther is NO menu for base model...the door lock/unlock features are for when shifting out of park and into park to decide which doors lock or open. as far as i know there is no way to change the key fob settings. but once again that might be in the owners manual, its a series of locking, unlocking turning the key etc to change these on base model, really a pain in the butt.

Use the three buttons on the right side of the steering wheel. That gets you through the various menus and allows changes. It's buried in the owner's manual.

It's pretty easy to accomplish on the base, I did it when I got mine by just following the manual. I don't remember exactly how it's done but as someone previously mentioned it is by performing a specific sequence of button pushes (either lock or window) and key turns. Check the manual, it's all there

To get into the menu, hold the DOWN button on the steering wheel, while the car is in park, and you will get into the menus.

I am not sure if this is available on non tech package.
