stock battery: discon for 1 wk?

just a quick ?:

still on stock battery - car ~1yr old.

read somewhere here that stock battery is quite "weak"/too small for our rdx. am about to embark on a vacation for a week (8 days to be exact). with winter temps going down to 10-20F, shld i disconnect the battery for this or too much hassle to reprogram everything? i park in an indoor garage FWIW.

thx

To be honest, I think your fine. I've had my RDX sit in the driveway during the past snow storms in the northeast and I haven't driven it for a week too. I left my auto headlights on, and I have a 2000watt amp for subwoofers hooked up. Just my situation. As long as you turn off your headlights, and just lock it up, don't worry.

What difference would it make to disconnect or let it drain? If parking in-door I think you'd be fine without doing that.
I started many of the post about a weak battery, just had mine replaced under warranty about a month ago, car is a 2007.

No disconnect needed at all for 8 days. Eight months, yes.

8 days is nothing; I had the RDX sit for 2 weeks and it still start up. I have a portable battery pack to jump, for whenever it does die.
