Software Version

Thanks for posting the Acura ServiceNews Bulletins Sassair. I noticed that the November issue mentioned a software update to solve a break issue. What's the best way to determine whether or not my vehicle has that update. I bought the RDX right around the time the update came out so I'm not sure if the dealer installed it.

Thanks

Only way to know is to take your RDX in to the dealer and ask them to hook the HDS up and check it out. I got my RDX well before the software update, but I haven't seen the brake issue as well as a lot of other members here. I think one or two here have seen the issue and taken it in and got the software update. I don't think it's anything you need to worry about unless it gives you the brake system warning indicator. Some who has had the problem might be able to shed more light on it if the dealer gave them more info about it. May be something they automatically do when you bring it in for regular servicing.

Great post with the service bulletins sasair. Thanks... it helps to keep us all informed! I like that they are in plain language, and even a little condescending to us RDX owners!

They are written for the service techs at acura to understand them so what does that tell you? They write them like they are writing to a 12 year old, which is good!

sasair - Congrats as well! Is the Moderator title earned by number of posts, quality of posts, contribution to the forum of some other method?
