Shift Lever Trim Plate Replacement

My G/F's RDX shift lever trim plate(the trim piece with the P, R, N, D, D2) on it has a wear mark on the front of it, and I'd like to get a new one to replace it.

Anyone ever done this? Was it easy or difficult?

The part itself, 54710-STK-A83 ESCUTCHEON SET, CONSOLE is $75!
A bit expensive for a simple trim piece.
