Gas prices are actually starting to drop somewhat. So what's happening? Crappy SUVs that have worse gas mileage than the RDX are selling like crazy!

I looked at the Rav4, Highlander, RDX, Xterra, Pilot, and CRV because I wasn't sure what I wanted. After I test drove the RDX I knew it was what I was looking for.

It has everything I want in it minus Sirius and a V6 yet it doesn't feel underpowered like the CRV did. I didn't look at the CX7 because I don't like Mazdas. A friend of mine has gone through 2 Mazdas and they've been really crappy cars.

MPG: Once you get on the RDX, forget about your TSX/Accord/Camry. How can people compare the MPG of a AWD Turbo SUV to a FWD sedan ?

If you want to compare the MPG, compare the RDX's with other compatible SUV, like FX35, RX350, etc. , and you will find the RDX's MPG isn't that bad.

I have an FX35 and an RDX. My brand new RDX gets about 10% better mileage on a long trip up to the mountains and back. (around 22.5 MPG in the RDX).

I'm staring at a RDX parked on the street outside my window. It must be the shape of the headlights that fail to excite me - seem quite boring, and just blah. Compared that to the new MDX headlights.

How do you compare the two vehicles?

Snorton, I would be most interested to hear about your comparison between the two vehicles! How would you compare the RDX and FX35 in terms of performance, comfort, luxury and space?

Thanks in advance!

Honda/Acura Edges Out BMW in Resale Value

Article in section D of today's WSJ states that Honda/Acura came in first for resale value. They retain on average 56% of their original retail price in five years. Second place BMW/Mini comes in less than a percentage point behind. For individual models, the Acura TSX came in first.

S2K all the way. I love my S2K. I hope to have another one next year. Anything before the 2004 models.

The worst time to lease is late in the model year when residuals are the lowest. Typically Acura leases are the best between the 3rd and 7th month the model year is available.
