I am running into space issues when I go camping. Fitting in all my gear is difficult esp when we take more than 2 of us camping and I cant fold the rear seats down to make more room for the gear.

I was thinking of adding a metal basket ot the roof rack. I'd rather do that than add a roof box, the rack gives me more size flexability.

Anyone do this or know of a good inexpensive option? I'd like one that can be easily taken on and off.

I'm running into the same problem when traveling in my RDX (I have a roof rack already). Can I add, can the RDX OEM roof rack be used for the MDX also?

 

Anyone out there using a roof basket?
