Replacing Center Console Leather

Replacing Center Console Leather
Any recommendations on where/which seller to buy from? I see a ton on e-bay, but I'm concerned that the color won't match my taupe interior. Anyone have success? Thanks.

Mine started bubbling up a few years ago - I had a local upholstery shop color-match and replace with a real leather piece for $120 total. That included matching the OEM stitch pattern as well. Ended up going back to them for both front door armrests as well a year ago when they started bubbling.

I did the same as Tomtwtwtw and went local to replace my torn RDX OEM armrest about 4 years ago. It was replaced with real leather and they matched very close to the taupe interior. It feels sooooo much better than the OEM thin plastic-leather armrest. I paid about the same +$100 range.

I also did the same as Tomtwtwtw and mrgold35. I ended up buying something similar to an OEM material and tried to replace the armrest by myself but in the end it looked cheap and the material wasn't very good. I took it to a local vehicle upholstery place and they did a fantastic job for about $120 CAD. They put extra padding and used vehicle grade vinyl which looks and feels wayyyy better then OEM.
Cheers,
Matt.

Hey everyone,
I went to a local body shop and had them order me the four arm rests and center console cover. They installed them and it went without a hitch. It was way cheaper than acura but it was so long ago I forgot the price. I hope this helps you out...

Try a DIY. It is not very difficult. The one tool you need is a simple staple gun with the smallest staples you can find. The cover I got was from an eBay vendor from Texas. I ordered the tan one and it wasn't a match. I contacted the vendor and asked which is a closer match and it was the taupe. Without asking, he sent me the other one for free.
