My center console has started to bubble and there seems to be many choices on eBay for replacement leather.

Few Questions
- Do I need to buy new cushioning?
My padding is flat from my elbow sitting on it for years
- Is this easy to do?

Things I need to do
- Buy a leather piece from eBay for $33
Fits 2005 2010 Acura RL Real Leather Black Center Console Lids 2X Armrest Covers | eBay

- Remove the lid


- Peel the vinyl and put on the new one

This company claims they have three colors, and that the ivory is a match for OEM. Can anyone confirm that? Thanks!

 

No replies to my post above, and it turns out that I ordered the wrong color from them anyway. So I would like to see if any of the members had success with color matching armrest covers from this company:

We have the B interior color code on our metallic gray 2008 RL. To me the interior color looks more like ivory than gray, but I will admit that when I take a picture of the leather, it sure looks gray.

No replies again, so I will post that the gray covers from this site are pretty close to OEM color, just a bit on the dark side.
