RDX TPMS question
I am a total newbie when it comes to TPMS and need some information on it. I am so glad I found this site.
Just bought a 2011 RDX and am going to install a new set of winter tires (separate rims, new tires, new oem tpms sensors).
From what I have read, the rdx should relearn it automatically after driving for a bit however I am not sure if relearning is the same as reprograming?
Questions:
1. Is relearning the same as reprograming?
2. Do I need to activate the sensors?
3. If yes, does this require a special tool?
4. How do I reprogram the sensors?
Any information on this will be much appreciated.

Questions:
1. Is relearning the same as reprograming? - essentially, yes
2. Do I need to activate the sensors? - not sure, may want to check with dealer. But in general you do not have to activate
3. If yes, does this require a special tool? - n/a
4. How do I reprogram the sensors? - On the RDX, I believe each sensor has a dedicated receiver in / near the wheel well. This means your car always knows which sensor is at which corner so no reprogramming needed after rotations either.
TL;DR - 4 new tires with 4 new OEM sensors should work perfectly once installed and mounted with no other action needed on your end.
