Rdx - t he worst compact suv ever!

Can Acura Engineers (If I can call them that) tell me what is the purpose of this car?
I bought one in 2010 and just traded it as I was totally disgusted with it.
1. It has no power
2. It burns as much gas as an MDX
3. Its SH-AWD does nothing for me. I can't feel the dirfference.
4. It's Towing capacity is 1500 LBS.
5. Most important the 4 cylinder Turbo is a gas guzzler, 22 MPG HWY, 17 MPG city.

If MDX ie 21 MPG, then one should buy the MDX why waste the money on an RDX?

Tell us how you REALLY feel.

IMO, the RDX is a totally different vehicle ... sporty, connected, nimble, etc. While it doesn't fit everyone's needs, it is a nice compact SUV ... quite an upgrade from a CR-V.

No power? maybe something is wrong with your car. I'm sure many people on this board and in the automotive industry will tell you that the RDX is one of the fastest SUVS/CUVS under 50k. Just look at it, the RDX has a 5 year old engine and transmission design and it is still near the tops on 0-60 times for its segment.

What is funny to me is why would you purchase a CUV if you have so much complaints about it?

Did you not take it for a test drive like the rest of us or research what are you purchasing?

The RDX is not for towing but more of a daily driver to zip around on your commute with a little more fun IMO.

Not a gas saver - if you wanted that; you should have purchase a hybrid CUV/SUV

No power? What other CUV in the same class are you comparing this too?

Also you mention the SH-AWD does nothing for you?
Can you let us know how are you engaging the SH-AWD to work? Snow? Rain? Turning?

By you bashing on the RDX and not fulling us with the details makes everyone wonders...why you got it in the first person.

I meant to write why you got the RDX in the first place. (Auto spelling on the phone sucks)

The RDX is the worst? Far from it. Not the greatest, but definitely not the worst.

Trolling fail.

Sounds like the worst car buyer ever instead of worst SUV ever.

You have to admit the RDX is not for everyone; which explains why you see so few on the road. The RDX is not perfect; but, it was perfect for me and my family.

In additional to his cross comprises between the MDX and RDX.

Both drives differently plus the MDX is over $8000 more.
If anyone has that kind of extra cash laying around with a RDX.

I can bet you that the RDX would be much faster being the pioneer to invest and tune this CUV. (probably for a lot less than 8k also.)

1. the RDX has no power? ROFL-LMAO, if it keeps or even beats a stock Audi A4 2.0t quattro, then in my opinion is a fast modafkin SUV.

2. i get 25mpg highway and 20 city, 22 combined.

3. with SH-AWD i don't need winter tires in Canadian winter, it saved me some cash.

4. i never bought a crossover lux for towing.

5. MDX gets 15mpg city and 20 highway. BIG DIFFERENCE.

Despite its futility there's a certain kind of irresistible charm in feeding trolls.

You are a complete idiot for posting this here. I suggest that we bought this vehicle for amongst other reasons, the cost, you are right the gas mileage sucks and my v6 TL is better, the SHAWD works well and the car is quite powerful and you needed a v6 in it instead of the I4 Turbo.

I cannot understand why you would post here other than to annoy people. Obviously we all have one and must like them if we post here as we are the enthuists.

city.
I know exactly what he means. I bought my RDX to haul a Sumo-wrestler rock-n-roll band, with all their stage equipment and pull their house trailer.

We barely made over it over the Rocky Mountains.

Are you kidding I take long TROLLs with it at the beach. My damn car turns into a robot. Introduced me to betty white. It knows Kung Fu. It flys.. Does yours not do that.. I'd take it back and ask them to get you one that does. I had thought to euthanize it when my brother backed into it. But I think this guy needs a hug, and a Nissan Cube.

I cannot help but to respond to comment 1.)
No power?! R U Serious?? Do you know how to drive this car? The RDX is MF fast! Drop it in Sport Mode with paddle shifters and you won't even think twice you're in a CUV!! Learn how to drive it and your eyes will open.
