The RDX dealer ride and drive is scheduled for July 21 in Columbus, Ohio. These are regional events held for dealer principals, GMs, department managers and consultants. I should have some photos and video to post by the 22nd.

 

Mine is for the 17th I think. Should be fun for sure.

Yes, and since it's pretty expensive to send a bunch of people, they usuall send the top two in new car sales. If I'm lucky, I'll be in that group. Whomever goes from our store will attend the class on the 17th.

 

Then I'll probably see you there. But there are two days, two sessions. I'm not sure which one. Slip Jim a 20 and maybe you'll get bumped up. :-)

 

Great news guys! Can't wait to read your impressions and see the pics of actual early-production units.

 

I know we're set up for first day first session. In the past, I've attened both sessions, just to get in more driving and photo ops. This year I think we're only set up for one class.

i mis-read the title.. i got over excited because i thought the date is Jun 21-2006....

 

I was stopped south bound on Old State making a left on Polaris pkwy today. I looked over in the opposite lane where there was a black RDX stopped making a left. I saw that it had no front license plates (License plates are mandatory in OH). I also noticed what appeared to be black tape on all of the emblems. It was a sight. I said to my wife "Wow, that really looks sharp. Looks just like the RDX. " Knowing that it won't be out for another month and a bit. As it passed by us we both had our heads cocked with our mouths wide open trying to get a good glimpse. My wife assured me stating before I could say anything "That's definately an Acura RDX. I could see the upside-down V"


I wanted to turn around and follow it but she reminded me we were late for lunch..
