Rdx Grille

COULD ANYONE TELL ME IF THERE IS AN AFTERMARKET GRILLE FOR THE RDX? I REALLY LIKE THE FRONT GRILLE ON THE 2007 MDX. DO YOU THINK THEY MIGHT ACTUALLY MAKE ONE OF THE SAME STYLE JUST SMALLER ?

I saw a picture on eBay of an RDX with a chrome front grill kit, but no order information. Would love to have the chrome.

The upper (silver trimmed) opening feeds the intercooler and is not a traditional "grille" -- it's really more like a hood scoop on other turbo cars. I would not cover that up too much (ie, MDX style blades) since it sort of benefits from getting air rammed in there at speed. It does have a plastic mesh grille inside (attached to the hood), and that's already more blockage than many intercooler scoops.

I actually wondered this myself. I like the way the RDX looks, just not from a head-on view.

I think the grill looks fine - it's the lower part of the jaw that looks a bit off to me. With the front lower lip filled in better I think the grill would look pretty classy. (Not sure if the Acura brand front underbody spoiler really does it, though - I'd have to see one in person.)

To really see this demonstrated, look at the TOV RDX Underhood Analysis in their video archive called Exhaust Notes. It is a really interesting video on the RDX and how the engine works.
