Hi, I'm from the TSX forum. I was chatting to a friend on aim yesterday and my brain cells were frying from the stuff she's telling me. I can't comprehend so maybe you guys can confirm just one thing. Is it possible to install the RDX engine in the Scion tC? She told me that her uncle will do it for her. I find it highly unlikely though but I don't know.

Here's what I can't figure out

friend: my uncle is still trying to look for a rdx engine for my car
(skip in convo)
friend: yea i have an acellorator
me: a who?
friend: it makes your engine ---- basically it turbos my engine
friend: my uncle put it in but can't take it out
friend: so im stuck
friend: because when we first got my car
friend: he wanted to race it for fun
friend so he out it

Yea... I came to the realization that she has no idea whatsoever (and vice versa) about what she's talking about and the existence of such parts. I can't get myself to listen to her anymore after she told me her boyfriend is "upgrading" to a Honda Fit from a Civic Si and he'll make it faster simply by putting on a body kit...

Thoughts and inputs anyone?

I lost brain cells just reading what she said. WTF is she talking about exactly? And yeah I'm sure a good bodykit and a few stickers will have it at 180HP in no time, cut the coils and were looking at a good 200WHP.

 

Or Wylie Coyote it, couple of acme rockets, viola....

 

doesn't tC have a TRD SC kit offered by factorY?

 

Yeah, its a dealer installed option I believe.

Anything is possible as long as you got the money.... But if you had that money, you wouldn't be starting out with a scion TC now would you?

 

Putting a RDX engine in a tC would be a huge undertaking not to mention the cost. Beside why would anyone want to do this? If I had a tC and wanted more power, I would just get the TRD SC for it and be done with it.
