question to all dog owners

Alright so I have 2 big dogs that I take to the park on a regular basis. Being that my seats are leather, I don't want them on the seats because their claws could cut the leather no matter how short they could be. My question is, what do you guys use as a partition to prevent the dogs from jumping over the seats? I'm open to ideas... just not expensive ones. Thanks in advance for all the help!

My big dog is good about staying in the back, but there are barriers available;

i have 4 english bulldogs and i either fold the seats down if 3 or more are in, with a dog mat laid down to prevent me from an hour of vacuuming or ill seclude them in the cargo area if its 2 or less im hauling around and still put the mat down

I just yell at them...they stay back there. I have this seat cover thing with these straps that hang from the rear seat rests.

Only time I had a problem was when I left driver door open by accident instead of the rear and they both jumped in and over the center console.

I usually fold the seats and toss this in there - works great. Alternatively we keep the seats up and they stay put if we have someone sitting in the back to keep them in check. Due to the angle of the seats putting a barrier in there cramps the room a bit, but I'm sure it would still work...or I suppose you could just keep the cargo cover in place.

I've used a seat hammock for the last 4 years for my big lab.

I keep my little guy in the back in the trunk. He's a small little Pembroke Welsh Corgi and he knows best not to try to hop over. If I had a big dog such as a husky, I would get the bar back there to make sure he or she does not jump over.

I used the seat hammock that I purchased from Amazon for my 00 Accord and it was crap. It did not stay in place too well. The link you sent seems to be a way much better quality than the one I got.

I got it for $16.49 when it was prime.

I don't have a big dog problem. I have a small dog problem, thus, dog car seats!
