Price paid for 2012 RDX
Price paid for 2012 RDX
I'm helping my aunt getting a 2012 RDX FWD base in Houston, TX. Her X3 was totaled last week. I'm aware of the new 2013 in April, but she can't wait, and probably doesn't care much about the change.
Right now a dealer is offering 33600 OTD, pretty much invoice + TTL. Is that a good price? Should I expect to get a lower than invoice price for this car?
Any info on dealing is appreciated!

Got the RDX today. There is a $1000 cash support from Acura corp to dealer which wasn't listed on edmunds. We didn't know until signing the contract. We were able to negotiate a little bit more with tint and all season mats included.
If anyone is going for the 2012 RDX aim for invoice minus 1000.

Anybody got the invoice price for a 2012 RDX SHAWD Tech in Canada? Looking to pick one up soon.
Also heard the 2013's are coming in next 2 months, dealers should probably wanna get the 2011's and 2012's off their lots right?

I don't know the invoice price for Canada market. But if you find out, aim for less than invoice price. like I said in previous post Acura is giving dealer $1000 cash support on 2012 RDX and probably more for 2011 RDX.
I am close to signing a deal on 2012 RDX brand new SH-AWD Tech for 38.5K OUT THE DOOR. That includes destination, all doc fees, taxes, etc. In essence, about 35K for the car (3.5K for fees/taxes). What do you think? Pull the trigger, or wait for 2013? I worried we won't get a great price on 2013, and we will lose the SH-AWD. The only alternative I have is a 2011 GLK 350 for $34K, but that is used, but certified. Thoughts, please.....
If you could wait I'd take the 2013 over 2012.
The reason we had to go for 2012 because my aunt's car was totaled, she had to get a new car and didn't really care for the change.
Even if you could not get invoice price for 2013, it's worth to pay 1 or 2 grands extra for a newer model.

The problem is that it will probably be more like 3 to 5 grand more for a fully loaded 2013. (We now have the opportunity to buy over 1K below invoice). Second, 2013 will lose SH-AWD. Lastly, the new styling is so-so. How are the insurance costs for the 2012 model? I am not sure if it is worth paying 3 to 5K for the newer model, especially that now I could also get 1.9% financing on 2012. Any other thoughts....please guys, share your opinions....
I got my 2012 SHAWD RDX at Radley Acura in VA for 37k all fees and taxes included in October of 11'. No options.
Don't go to Pohanka Acura in Chantilly if your around the area. They charged me 39k and wouldn't budge. Also their service center is horrid. :X
