Wow, that is dark! Does light still get out when the car is on? I've seen people use vinyl spray/spray tint on their taillights. Never seen plasti-dip. Too bad its illegal here to smoke taillights.

gross.

I would be afraid of a rear end accident.

it cuts light output.
I'd "peel" that plastidip right off.

You didn't just painted your taillights? I think that the "smoked" taillights are already....well, not smart, this just takes it to a "whole notha level"
You have the right to be reckless, but please do not endanger other people on the road, and the PAINTED taillights effectively do that.

This is wild. i've been a fan of black cars blacking everything out but thats pretty dark. I can understand like a tinted smoked tail light but this is pretty dark.

Aesthetically I think it looks good- Safety wise it probably isn't a very sound decision.

When blacking out taillights the best way to go is tint! I understand what you was trying to do but plastic dipping the tails is dangerous! Remove and tint and you will have my blessing lol G/L

I literally

But completely agree with all above said. Looks really good, but function before form is always the safer way to go when it comes to your lights

There's actually still quite a bit of light coming through.

Here are some pictures of it at night. The blinker was kinda hard to get to focus.

I like it.

But I would worry about other drivers missing my turn signal in the daylight.

I had a Speed6 with a smoked lens cover over the FRONT headlights. I thought it was cool, but I had to take them off to drive at night and people would get pissed off when I was turning because they didn't see my signal.
