Hey guys, so I just purchased a pre-owned 2008 RDX. I'm looking to put front spoiler and rear diffuser on it soon. But seeing as this is a 3 year old car, the paint on it has probably deteriorated JUST a little bit. I know the rear diffuser's color isn't body matched so that won't be of concern. But the front spoiler is. If i have it installed, will the NEW spoiler paint look different from my OLD body paint? I don't want to have to drive around with a 2-toned grey on my "new" RDX... anyone know anything about this? thanks!

 

I have an 08 pmm and just added the lip. There is a slight color mismatch which drove me a little crazy at the beginning, but the look is much better and hardly notice it anymore...

 

hmm... how long has it been since you installed it? is it that you got used to it? or did the lip eventually just blend in with the rest of the body after time?

I see RDXs with the lip on the street and it looks SO much better that way. but im just wondering if the addition of the lip will outweigh the color mismatch. I know I can be pretty anal about things with my car, especially little things like this where probably only I can notice... haha...

 

I purchased my lip about 6 months ago for my 08. There wasn't too much, if any, difference in color. My RDX is Carbon Bronze.
