Started car this morning, and it was chugging, running rough. Then the dash lit up. CEL is flashing/pulsing. Plugged in my flash pro & it said P0303.
just changed plugs (second time over life of vehicle. Been about 60k miles I think). I also swapped the coil packs between cylinder 2 & 3. Now the code is P0302 with same symptoms. Plugs looked dry. Coil packs are original.
but dam! $124 for one ngk pack? Can’t I just use the duralast for 237 for 4?
155k miles. Any thoughts folks?
what is the cylinder sequence from left to right? I switched the second from the left pack/cylinder with the one to the right of it.

changed all 4 plugs & 4 coil packs. Sorry guys, I went with the duralast coil packs.

 

Coil packs are one of those things i usually grab used at the yards as they are an all or nothing failure. Do this for my volvo and my partners acura.

 

I'd use used ones if you didn't have to disassemble the top of the engine to replace one. I bought my RDX with 160k miles. I replaced all 4 plugs and coils while I was upgrading parts.

 

Had this issue and it was the coil.
