I don't use it personally, but Mobil1 is $26.00 for a 5 quart jug at Wal-Mart in my area.
I'd suggest using OEM oil filters, either obtained from your local Honda/Acura dealer, or from an online dealer.
If you would be satisifed with a synthetic blend, Wal-Mart carries Motorcraft synthetic blend oil for $12.50 per 5 quart jug.

You need a filter wrench to remove the old filter, but shouldn't use a wrench to install the new one. It should be installed by hand. Make sure the old filter gasket is off of the engine (they can stick), and lubricate the new filter's gasket with a little oil on your finger. Then turn the filter on until it makes contact, and then hand tighten another 3/4 of a turn.
You can get the filter wrench at a parts store (Advance Auto, AutoZone, O'Reilly). The best kind is not a "one size fits all", so I'd suggest you take the OEM filter with you when you buy the wrench so that you can make sure you get the right size. Also, since you don't have a Wal-Mart, one of the aforementioned parts stores is probably your best bet for the Mobil1. Incidentally, the vehicle's owners manual has a pretty good step by step instruction on doing the oil change.

The dealer should have two seperate departments, one is "parts" and the other is "service". It is VERY normal for someone to walk up to the parts counter and buy parts to take with them.
You can get the filter from an Acura or Honda dealer. You need part #15400-PLM-A02. It will include the gasket that I was referring to. The price should be somewhere between $6.00 and $9.00 depending on your dealer.
Also, I forgot to mention, you need to replace the crush washer (goes between the oil pan and the drain plug) each time you do an oil change. I don't know the part number off hand, but the Honda/Acura dealer should know exactly what it is. It should only cost around $0.25.
If you are going to do this as a matter of routine though, you might just consider ordering several filters (6 or so should be enough to justify the shipping) from an online Honda/Acura dealer. This way you won't have to go throgh the nuisance of getting ONE filter each time you do an oil change.

Your in the US, get a good Wix Filter (http://www.fleetfilter.com/) and Pennzoil Platinum, reset the maintenance minder and follow it to a T!
Oil change for me costs about $35 CDN dollars with oil filter, and oil (buy it when it goes on sale)
