I just stopped by my local Acura dealer to check the price on oil filters before I went to the local parts store. I nicely asked him nicely if he could give me a great price as I am a "loyal" customer of their dealership. He said he would see what he could do, and gave me a $5.24 price. I thought that was OK as the Autozone price was $5.75, and not an OEM filter. So I guess if you ask they can lower the price if they want to. BTW Walmart has raised the price of Mobil 1 from $19.97 to $ 21.97. Hope they have a sale soon.

 

That price for Mobil 1 is still pretty darn cheap. Some guys in the TSX forums pay up to $10.00 per Litre of Motul to use in the K24A engine which is not even turbocharged!

If slight price increase is potentially an issue for you for the Mobil 1 (not sure why, since you bought the RDX turbo), go with Pennzoil Platinum, it is also HTO-06 certified.

 

We up here in Canada pay close to 30 bucks for 4.4L of mobil 1 ON SALE!. Regular price is 38 bucks.
Be glad its 19.97. (Im assuming 4.4L)

 

Yeh! I thought it was still a bargin at Walmart when it went to $24.75 for the 5 Qt. bottle.
