Anyone else have any issues with the iPod integration with static on one side or the other? It is like a loose connection to a speaker sound, but it only happens with the iPod playing, and not the radio. I also get intermittent rpm influenced feedback from the speakers, kind of like an old DIY stereo install without a proper power line filter installed. I am worried about the dealer not doing anything about it if taken in since they seem to not be supporting that interface anymore.

I was surprised that my 2009 tech package didn't have any iPod integration features. I thought it was a no-brainer in 2009, but I was wrong. If they get Music Link fixed, then I'll consider buying it.

I bought an iPod doc to aux cable from Amazon a few weeks ago for long road trips and it's sounds pretty good. I've played CDs and XM radio, but for some reason the iPod sounds waaaay better. I'm not sure if Acura did a bit of iPod tuning on the ELS sound system, but I was impressed.

Of course, I have to use the iPod for shuffling and I don't see anything on the display.

 

I have had issues with static and interference, but it has always been a loose connection to the Ipod....
