New Member: Hello
Just purchased a 2007 carbon bronze RDX with tech package. 44,000 miles certified for $24,000 (not including tax, etc). I think I got an 'ok' deal. Dealer promised me a spare key... waiting for it....
My previous car was an X5 3.0.
I plan on doing the side moldings, front spoiler and rear spoiler. Maybe get a sunroof deflector (it's naked up there). Definitely going to get the running boards. I'm leaving the wheels stock.
Anyone have any pictures of their carbon bronze RDX? I only found two pictures on this forum.
The main thing I don't like about the car is the braking. Have to give it more effort than I am usually used to.
The transmission I feel it downshift hard sometimes, but that's not really a problem. I don't think Honda has problems with their transmissions. My BMW did this all the time too but whenever it did I was looking to see if a tran-safe light came on in the dash.
The sound system is good (better than premium BMW), but I hear rattling/distortion in the back sometimes. Again, my BMW did this too.. cheap paper speakers?
Overall I'm very happy with my purchase : )

Welcome to the forum!!
Before you purchase your exterior mods, check out the ECU reflash for the RDX:

It is the best bang for the buck mod for the RDX. I had this done and give it 5 stars.

Welcome and congrats on your RDX! I too have the Carbon Bronze Pearl. Love the color! Mine is a 2008. Wonder why they discontinued the CBP after 2008 beats me.
The RDX is a really fun vehicle. Handles well, Very good sound system, is quite fast for a small CUV, great in the snow, and SH-AWD is the best thing since sliced bread. Enjoy!
Weakest link? Tires! If yours at 44K miles still has OEM tires get new ones asap!

Welcome - I also have a Carbon Bronze Tech with Black leather - LOVE it. Don't really need the moulding (unless you like the look) - the sunroof deflector is one of those things you wish you would have skipped...
Braking is OK. Not bad, not great. Engine / tranny both top notch.
Happiness will grow even more with time. Wait till you take it cross-country and need to pass someone going up a mountain - Yeah baby!
