Need help locating the IAT Sensor

Can anyone tell me where to find the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor? It may also be called the AIT ot MAT sensor.

Seems like its the five wire sensor located at the Air intake manifold. I wont be messing with that. Wanted to add a performance module. Decided against it.

There are two IAT sensors. The one with the five wire harness is a MAF sensor and IAT sensor. Thus the 5 wires. The two wires for the IAT there are green/yellow and red/yellow, or pins 1 and 2 in the connector.

The other IAT sensor is below and in front of the charge air cooler cover. This one has 2 wires. also Green/yellow and red/yellow.

HAHAHA @ "performance" module! Tuned by eBay I see... A little resistor to trick the ECU into thinking the air temperature is colder/denser so it sends more fuel.

~Cheers~

Although those things do work, doing so on a car without a wideband would make me nerrrrrvous

To the original poster, if you're looking for a quick performance upgrade, try a manual boost controller. Just remember that more is not necessarily better when adjusting boost pressure!
