Neat little features?

I just realized on my sports car (after having it two years) I can roll down my windows from the remote by holding the unlock key... I think it's pretty cool... So it got me thinking, are there any features in my RDX that aren't noticable unless you go looking for them? Just curious, what features have you guys found out about your RDX's that you didn't realize before?

I don't think this is listed in any of the manuals, but if you have the front windshield wipers on and you stick it into reverse, the rear wiper does one pass automatically. Thought that it was pretty neat.

There is a post on these easter eggs somewhere. I can't find it.

I wouldn't consider them "easter eggs" as I haven't seen any features that aren't published in the manual. Including the rear wiper automatically wiping when put in reverse. And along with that, the front wiper immediately wiping when in intermittent and you lift your foot off the brake. But yeah there is another thread with the same sort of topic somewhere...

I tried to hold the unlock key on my RDX remote ... nothing happened. Not even when I use the key at the door (a feature I had in my VW, used to even close the sunroof.)

How about a factory remote starter...I don't know why this is not standard equipment (or even an option) for all manufacturers...the competition RX-7 has it as a factory option, covered by the warranty...

I love this feature. If you say the voice command "display current location" The navi shows your GPS coordinates and your elevation. This picture was taken on top of Berthod Pass on the way to Winter Park ski area.

Acura has one as an accessory and I bought it.

It's not as good as aftermarket though. Limited range, they only give you one FOB (have to buy a second), you have to still use your original fob (2 big fobs on the keychain) and unlike 99% of remote starter, the Acura one shuts off when you unlock the door, so you have to restart it once you get in.

not on my mothers TL...although we had to have it changed out when the one they promised wasnt the one we got. you may have gotten one designed for "domestic cars" those do that have to open the door thing, might want to find who they contract to do it, and if it is then you can probably get a foreign car one under warranty because they didnt use something designed for foreign cars.
