More RDX on the road now

Last Satursday, it was the first time I see 3 other RDX's on the road in Toronto on the same day.

Twins

I have been all around LA, Boston and the North East, NJ, NY, all through Texas, Orlando and Vero Beach, drove form Cape Code to Maryland, and only saw my first one today. I parked next to it in our office building today in Boston - it is a twin of mine.

Ha, ha, yup, same happened to me the other day...the single only one I've seen here, and I pullup next to it's twin in the lot. Racks and tech package.

CapeCod, I was going to suggest a tri-state RDX Meet but we'd probably end up with a party of 2.

Yeah I've been wanting to kick-off a "sightings" thread, but can't really do that until I see one haha. I've only seen one in the Orlando area, and they were on a test drive from the nearby dealership.

There used to be a sightings thread but it was so few and far between that it died off. I see tons of them in the NoVA area nowadays....

I see them in spurts, but by no means a lot. After seeing no blue RDXs on the road and then buying one, I saw two others right in my town the same day! But that was weeks ago. Don't recall seeing any RDXs since then, even with several highway trips. They are still pretty sparse in my area.

I'm in Orange County/LA County and spend a lot of time on the freeways for work. For so long, I didn't see a single RDX on the road. In fact, I was worried when I bought mine... In the past few weeks though, I've seen tons. I saw a really nice black one the other day that had the sparkle rims, running boards, and front and rear underbody spoilers. It looked soooo good!

While going to my friend's house Sunday, I saw an RDX parked in a garage. This was in Hillsborough Township, NJ ( anyone here? ). The same house also had a previous gen MDX in the driveway.

I saw another RDX in Manville on Sunday, but I see more new MDXs than RDXs.

I tried to identify the one behind me by mirror turning signals, high SUV stature, and smiling/ squinting head lights. Not sure it was (could not see the emblem). But are there any sure identifying factors you can think of at night?

Saw 2 more RDXs - a silver one yesterday on Readington Rd. in Branchburg, around 5:15 pm and then another one this morning (CGP) on Readington Rd. around 8 am. Funny, I go from not seeing any for weeks, to seeing a handful in a just a few days.

You won't see the smiling/squinting look at night - that effect is only visible during the day when you can see the cut out on the lower inside part of the lens. At night, look for the position of the front amber running lights just inside and nearly level with the HIDs. Also, if you're on the highway or other road with sections, look for the up and down motion of the HID beams associated with RDX's tight suspension and short wheel base.

I see the same one a lot on my way to school. Besides that I have seen a few others around but I think half of the acuras in america are in charlotte. 3G TLs are very common along with the MDX. I think people here buy acuras because they are known for having REALLY good service here. Whenever you talk about acuras in charlotte people who have delt with the dealer will almost always say "oh yeah they had great service." and people wont dont have acuras when they are bought up will usally say "oh yeah i heard they have good service." Which is seems to pay off because there are a lot of acuras around here.

I know that there are 4 (including mine) in Saskatoon, Canada, pop 220,000. Just wondering if that's a high percentage for a city this size? Any known comparrisons for similar sized cities in the US?

WOW..... 1 in 55,000..... you are driving a rare specimen! It is better than where I am. I live in a town of 15,000 and work in a town of 70,000 and I haven't seen one yet in either place.

are you sure it was an RDX, cause it's not available in beige, or tan/cream color. There is carbon bronze, but definitely, not beige. Must have been a really dirty white one!

Iv'e seen two only here in upstate NY (silver and white)

Only 1 in Tampa Bay area

That's right.... have seen only one other than mine since the vehicle debuted. Just before thanksgiving 2006 saw a white RDX Tech (was behind it and could see the backup camera). That is it. ONE in area with over 2.5 million people. I feel pretty special.

Have probably seen a dozen of more 2007 MDXs though.

Yup, maybe it's the carbon bronze, but when I walked up to it, it said RDX SH-AWD.

Just needed a bad car wash

I see TONS of 07 MDX'es around Toronto, but still very few RDX'es. Maybe the "truck of the year" honours will translate into better sales over the next few months.

Saw a silver one way back shortly after getting mine. Saw a black one about 6 weeks ago. Pulled up next to a NEW blue one today in a double turn lane. Rolled down the windows and spoke for a few...he said he got it a week ago! Very happy. I told him I had mine almost 5 months & still love it!! I told him to come join us at ACURAZINE!!

Saw my third one this morning on the way to work. Red RDX at the intersection of Sugarloaf Parkway and Satellite Blvd. Anyone here?

It could have been a test drive from the near by Acura dealership, but I didn't see any stickers on the side facing me.

Still surprises me in a city the size of Atlanta that I haven't seen more.

Saw another one today at lunch. Black RDX parked at the Roadhouse Grill at the intersection of Sugarloaf Pkwy and Satellite Blvd in Duluth. Same intersection where I saw the red one.
