Moonroof Visor

Hello All,

Looking for some feedback from those who have the Moonroof Visor. According to Acura it cuts down on wind noise while the moonroof is open. Does it really function as advertised?

Thanks,
Wayne

Why did you take it off?

Same reason. When I have it open the windows are down so less noise wasn't a thought.

I got the moonroof visor installed by the dealer 3 days ago. It actually makes the wind buffeting problem worse. I'm returning it tomorrow. Waste of money.

I had it on the demo RDX. I agree with above remarks that while it cuts the wind noise down, it really decreases the "openess" of the having the roof open. As a result, I didn't get it and am still glad.

isn't there a little wind deflector that pops up?

My previous car (Saab 9000) didn't have the wind deflector (pop-up) and it was very loud.
My current car (Saab 9-5) comes with a factory one (pop-up) and it has an after market plastic one too from the previous owner. I find the car to be very quiet but think that the factory one can do a similar job without having to put holes on the roof.

If you install one make sure you will not change your mind in the future and try to remove it...
