Does RDX Tech can able to provide 'xx Miles left till tank empty' or similar information?.

Well, there is info called RANGE on trip-computer but indid there is a 20-30 miles reserve after it says '0 miles'. Had an experience month ago Stopped right at the gas station

 

There was a story on Dateline or 60 minutes where the reporter did some tests to see how far past the fuel light he could go. He got 45 miles. There is a web site somewhere where people can post their mileage after empty.

 

Did you have to roll into the gas station or did it shut off at the pump?

 

Well, there were several feet left and I was lucky to have the fueling line rather long.

 

My RDX ran out of gas ( shut off and coasted to a stop; had to wait for friend with gas jug ) when the light came on to shut down was 13 miles on the trip counter!!! City driving.

 

I have always had a bit left.

To the OP: press the info button then pick trip computer.

 

In all the cars I've had I never let it run too low. 1/4 tank is kinda my limit when I start to get nervous and fill up. But with gas prices lately I now fill up at a 1/2 tank. It makes it "seem" less painful at the pump!
