So I'm working on lowering my 1st gen. I'm gonna install next week, I'll do before and after shots but for now here's a few. I've did extensive studying on this setup and with the help of Ai, this setup is viable. 1.5ish" front, 1.3ish" rear.
I'm sitting about a couple inches lower with the BC Racing coilover kit. Definitely like being lower to the ground but of course there's theoretically the extra wear on the suspension components and CV axles...
My roommate thinks it looks dumb but I like it. Certainly not as obvious as the slammed CRVs I see in town.
I'm lowered 1" all-around with Eibach springs. Very happy where it sits.
Which Eibach springs did you opt for? how does it ride?

It was Eibach SU0012 from Heeltoe, but it has been discontinued for many years now. The ride is great, much better than stock. Slightly firmer making the car more planted in corners, but not harsh at all.
I had Eibach on my 08 RDX with OEM struts and Progress RSB. Nice lowered stance, felt OEM in normal driving, cornered like it was on rails. It killed my OEM struts/shocks in around 100,000 miles. Handed the RDX down to my daughter in 2019 and she drove it until 2024 before she killed it.
