Intake boot cracks

15yr old boot, and custom 3” 304 stainless pipe.

Had weird idling and CEL popping up when full throttle.

Yeah , been in the body shop business for decades..I’ve seen plenty of-mark-ups and discounts with dealers and aftermarket. With my son needing his car and he’s paying for the convenience , I relented and paid full boat to the devil.
Online dealer is definitely the way to go , and you don’t have to deal with the newbie at the counter either.

The cool part is you can print out the purchase order and take it to your local dealer and they honor the price.
