Identifying driver side oil leak

I thought I would split this off into a new thread...

2007 rdx Tech w/ 158k miles

I recently replaced the gasket for the oil filter housing and the valve cover gasket, grommets and seals. Both were leaking, so there is residual oil on the motor. I went a couple of months without a drop on the floor or smell of burning oil. Earlier this week I noticed 2 spots of oil under the car. One on each side of the motor. As far as I can tell, both of my previous repairs are fine.

Pics below:

1. inspection plate on transmission (I had wiped it down, but it's obvious the massive amount of oil that ran over it recently.
2. pic with plate removed. small trace of oil visible, but I don't think it's enough for the problem to be the rear main seal.
3. Pic 1 of part I'm trying to identify
4. Zoomed in pic of part I'm trying to identify. The part with the green plug on the left and all the oil on the right. I can't seem to find it on any parts diagram.

I just can't seem to track down this leak. I think I've got 2 problems, but it's definitely possible it is one more significant leak that is finding it's way to both side of the car. Maybe a turbo oil line or something?

Thanks,
Matt

I think I tracked it down to the oil pan. Anything else I should replace when I drop the pan?

Rear main seal. Transmission has to come out, then the plate that the rear main seal sits in needs to be removed from the engine block and resealed with Hondabond HT. Once that is bolted back on you can install the new rear main seal flush to the plate that it sits in. Not something you can do without a lift really.

Are you saying I should replace the RMS when I reseal the oil pan or that you think the leak is the RMS?

I haven't, but I actually have that gasket sitting on a shelf ready for my next round of maintenance. I'm just confused by Acuratech481's comment as it seems pretty clear the leak is coming from the pan, but his comment has we wondering if he thinks the problem is the RMS. I've also discovered removing the pan on this vehicle isn't as easy as other vehicles I've done in the past, so it's just sitting in the garage for now.

It's definitely possible I have a RMS leak and an oil pan leak. I can watch the oil dripping out where the pan seal is damaged though (shown in picture up above).

Thanks. I do use Acurapartswarehouse occasionally, but wasn't able to locate the part. I ended up finding the factory repair manual (which has great "location index" pics), but I'm still not sure what it is. I assume it's the component circled in red in the pic below. I'm not super concerned because I think all the oil residue is from the valve cover gasket which I think is now fixed.

I haven't done much with the car the last couple of weeks. I re-did the valve cover gasket and I think that fixed one of the primary leaks. I had recently done it and it was fine for a while, but started leaking again. When I looked at the repair manual, I saw I was supposed to use Hondabond on 4 spots, so I took it apart and sealed it back up correctly.

I'm positive I need to fix the oil pan seal. There is a small leak I can see develop by just laying under the car... I also ordered pretty much every other oil seal as they have 160k miles, so they need to be done. I ordered the VTC strainer, o-rings for the cam sensors, o-ring for the oil pressure timing valve, gasket/filter thing for the spool valve, vvt valve/actuator, maybe another gasket or 2. I'll replace the water pump, alternator, etc as long as I'm on that side of the motor.
