The Toshiba 9011s are in and they make a huge difference over the stock units. They are much brighter. No, they are not whiter to closer match the HIDs. Yes, they can light a runway for a 747. Or that 1/4 mile ahead of your RDX. Just what I need when I'm driving down a rural highway in the dead of night.

If anyone is looking for better illumination at night rather than a boutique match for their HIDs, this is the way to go. In the DRL mode, there is a plainly noticeable difference from stock even in normal daylight (duh, DRL). They shine. They aren't whiter, so if you are looking for that and don't need the nighttime visibility, go with the Osrams, Sylvanias or another high color temp/wattage bulb. Be aware that even as DRLs, those bulbs will burn out faster due to their coatings and/or wattage.

My next mod is going to be those Hoen Endurance H11s to replace the stock fogs.

Received the Hoen's today. I'll try to get them in tomorrow. I'll also try to post pix of the difference between stock and hoen.

I haven't done the fogs yet, but the DRL color is a wee bit whiter. The real diff is when the high beams are on. The color match to the hid's is almost the same. I just don't use my high beams that much.

If the fogs are as close as the hi's, I'll be satsfied with them.

Just wish the DRL's were better.

Pix didn't turn out well. Maybe neo1738's pix will.

Hoen's installed here are the pics!

So I thought I took all combinations of the pics, however i realized i forgot a pic of just the old highbeams on. Otherwise i should have everything else. During the daylight you can still notice a difference with the new DRL.

Stock DRL

New DRL day

New DRL night

Stock Fogs

New Fogs

New Highbeams

Once again sorry I forgot pics of old Highbeams, but I guess you could just go outside and look at yours

9005p for the highbeams/drl those are the xenonmatch plus $37.00
then H11 xenonmatch fogs for the fogs $29.99

be careful they offer xenon match plus H11 but those are not for us.

install time 5min each highbeam/drl (no joke too easy) 10min each fog

a few notes, now that i have tested these out for a bit, you will definitely lose that highbeam visibility, for me it doesnt do much more than faintly light up past the low beams, and the fogs provide minimal increase in light, what they still do is create more of that light near the corners of the car where u need it to see the lines. with all that said; however, they def look awesome! i'll give em a try, if first snow the fogs are causing me to not be able to see i will probably put in original until spring. food for thought

Hey sasair

would you recommend the Hoens over the Silverstar Ultras?
