HID brightness adjustment

Hi,

I never drive HID lights car before, so I am feeling that headlights are too bright. Just wondering is it possible to adjust the brightness?

Thanks!

Not that I know of. I don't think there is a switch to adjust brightness of headlights. The only adjustment switch is for instrument brightness.

No it cannot be adjusted. These headlights are there so you can see better.

maybe turn off the fog lights?? they make it brighter. Also maybe they are out of align and seem bright because they are targeted wrong. Could have dealer check

I personally enjoy having the extra light..especially in rain. But everyone is different.

Sorry thiough you can not turn them down

Wear your sunglasses at night. If that doesn't help, try popping your collar.

I have just bought RDX couple of days back, yesterday was first time I drive at the night time. May be after few days my eyes would adjust to HID.

Haha! That's the whole point of HID - more light!

One thing that took me a while to adjust to was the hard line where the light stopped down the road. For a long time I felt like I was overdriving my headlights. I eventually got used to it, and now I can't drive a car without HIDs. Every time I get in my wife's Honda, I feel like there's something wrong with the headlights because they're so dim and yellow.

HID's are a must on cars I buy. Seeing well at night is pretty important to safe driving.

Once you go HID you'll never go back! You'll get used to them and wonder how you ever drove without them!!! LOL.

HIDs don't necessarily provide more light, but better light. The projector lens also helps a lot, with or without HIDs.
