Looking for advice on a problem I've been unable to solve.
I went over a pretty big dip on the highway (was not visible at night) at around 80mph. Car took a bit of air (as did I in the car) and when it came down, I heard a pretty loud noise. Drove cautiously home, with no issues.
Fast forward, I have had a noise ever since. You can only hear it when going over bumpy roads but sounds like clanking combined with the noise sneakers would make in a dryer (best way to describe it).
Initially thought it was shocks, and may still be. But any other thoughts on what I may be dealing with?

For starters, how many miles are on the vehicle?
Try looking under the vehicle at chassis articulation connection points indicated by arrows below as well as the shocks?
If you '...heard a pretty loud noise', as a result of landing after catching some air at 80 mph, there may be bent, broken / now loose components that continue with noise.
In addition, factoring in 14 years of wear on said components already, before the inadvertent 'dukes of hazard' incident, does not help.
you didn't describe the noise or where it comes from enough to really help you. If you don't have a jack to look under car, why are you even asking us?
