Has anyone traded an 07 RDX for an 10 RDX?
I am considering going to my dealer and seeing what they can come up with, but I wondered how others have been treated by their dealers when attempting to trade an 07 in on a 2010.
Do they give you the doom and gloom on the value of the 07 or have they been good about it? Do they take anything off the 2010?
I know this varies from dealership to dealership. I'm looking more for attitude and advice moreso than what prices you got.
My 07 is still running perfectly so it's not like I'm in a rush.
THANKS

I'm in the same boat, b I will wait until next year, maybe the choice of colors will improve and I just got my wife a car in June. My reason for the trade is improve tech package. MusicLink and handsfree is the 07' biggest disappointment to me.

I stopped by my dealership today and just spoke with a salesman without getting involved into the "paperwork" state. He pulled up the Kelly BlueBook values on the car and they were far less than those you see/get at Edmunds. For those values, I'm keeping the thing. Once I get to 100,000 miles I'll think about it again. The car is worth far more to me than it is to anyone else.

Now you got me thinking. But the 10' color selection is kinda poor. No more Royal Blue, just red and shades of sad.

Also, I should've mentioned that my lease maturity date is actually February 1st. So, CarMax is currently giving top dollar for the RDX allowing me to turn in 5 months early and still make money. I'm not sure if they'll continue to do this as more lease turn ins accumulate on their lots. Last I checked, CarMax only had 22 RDX's nationwide!

no way would i trade until the RDX goes for a complete redesign, if that happens. There really nothing mechanically or statistically significant to make the trade, other than getting a "new" vehicle. In fact, the suspension tuning of the 07 is the best out of all the model years, that, i wouldnt trade away.
