We've never had any at my dealership then all of the sudden we had a silver, white, and black all traded in by three different people in one week! Two Techs and one non-Tech. Wonder why?

Lease returns.

 

Wouldn't lease returns go back to the Acura dealer?

 

I see no mention that this is any other type of dealer (unless there is a sig pic not showing up on my computer).

 

If the lease is returned to another dealer the dealer has the option to buy that car...no matter what dealership.

 

wrong. it can only go to another dealership right away if the car is traded in, just like if it were not leased. you can't "turn in" an acura at an MB dealer... but the MB dealer can buy out your lease..... but I'm sure if the lease turn in goes to auction, any dealer can buy it at that point.

 

Which dealership? I just picked up a C63 AMG over @ South Bay. Did they trade them in for GLKs?

You proved my point...You 100% can turn in a lease to a MB dealer. Obviously they then will pay off the lease and then can buy the car. If the lease is up they can still BUY the car from Acura for what Acura stated the car would cost in the lease.

 

turning a car in at the end of a lease, lease turn in, is not the same as trading in a leased car.

i.e. lease turn in...... lease has ended, payoff is more than car is worth trade in, so you just turn the car in to acura.

trade in is what you describe.

San Francisco.

We have two RDXs left... a Tech and non-Tech. Can't get rid of them! 07 for 25k keep getting offered 21,5k for it! Other one is an 07 Tech for 28k. I've had no offers on that one! Now we have an 04 X3, too! No offers for me on it yet.

C63 is a nice car! If it had a stick I'd love it. Still, that engine just sounds so damn nice. If only they'd throw that into an E Coupe...

I sold the white one... don't remember for how much though. Was nice car that one.

You can trade 'er in or pay off the lease by making remaining payments... usually a bad idea.
