Question Front Underbody and Rear Diffuser

Does anyone have any "before" and "after" pictures of the RDX "Performance Front Underbody" ($475) and/or the "Performance Rear Diffuser" ($419)?
I realize that the only benefit for the vehicle is the more aggressive look of the vehicle, and you don't get any added benefit.
I plan to get the "Front Underbody" addition, but not the "Rear Diffuser". Will this look weird from the side? I don't think the rear diffuser is visible from the side. Only from the rear of the vehicle.
Does anyone have any opinions on this? Should I get both? Opinions and advice appreciated. Thx!

I have the front spoiler only and I think it looks great. The rear diffuser didn't seem to make much difference visually so I opted out on that option. From the side, I don't think there's any difference at all.

In all honesty, i got the front spoiler to differentiate a bit from all the soccer moms in my area, but most of my friends don't even see the difference. I personally think it rounds out the front end a bit better, making it look a little less boat-like.

[QUOTE=Boon]I'm with Boon. To the trained eye, the front spoiler gives the RDX a much more aggressive look (if that's what you're going for). The rear diffuser didn't attract me so much--no offense to those who like it, but it just looks like a bolt-on piece of cheap black plastic to me.

unless you have a white RDX.....putting the rear diffuser on any darker color it basically just blends in and you dont really notice it....just looks like dressing that comes on it.

if you are going todo anything....do the front underbody, changes the whole look.

i have both

also....those prices, are those installed prices or before labor/paint? U might be better off ordering the items on an ebay seller and save some cash.

The dealership that sold me the car tried to convince me that the front spoiler would add 3-4 mpg to my fuel economy. He said he personally had people come in and tell them that one option paid for itself.

Thx for all the responses.
$475 is with installation. I am opting for dealer install because my garage space isn't so big for this type of work, and I was worried I will scratch it as the installation instructions do show the whole bumper having to come off. (The instructions also recommend dealer installation.). I think I've decided not to get the "rear diffuser".
I'm getting a black RDX, so I'd agree that the "front underbody" would be less noticable. If anything, it'll be my skid plate. :-)

keep in mind...you cannot use the rear diffuser with a trailer hitch. It's in the fine print of the Acura materials.

Personally I really like the look of the front underbody and I wish I had gotten it. It's not too late, fortunately.

The factory hitch CAN be used with the rear difusser.

Where is this information that you cannot have both?

Here is mine, installed by the dealer.

cool, good to see!

In the promo material at the dealership, there was an asterisk next to both items saying that they could not both be installed at the same time.

2007 promo material

Here is the 2007 promo I received on the options. There is no asterisk by the hitch or diffusser.

Maybe they changed things for the 2008s.

Yeah, I was looking at the 08's and I didn't get the diffuser just because of that warning

It looks like all they did was cut out the hitch clearance with an exacto knife.

That's pretty much what the official Acura installation instructions say to do.

I have the front spoiler. I love the more aggressive look. When I got my first look at an 08 RDX in the dealer in November, a showroom model without the front spoiler, I thought it looked wimpy. I didn't pay for mine. Or the gold lettering. Or the bad weather mats (which were much needed because I bought my RDX during the winter). I told the dealer to throw them all in the negotiated price or I was walking. He didn't believe me, so I closed my checkbook, got up and walked out the door witihout saying a word. He chased me down. LOL.

Wink good to go...

I have both, If your going for a more aggressive look the front spoiler is key. The RDX looks like a boat with out it, as for the rear diffusor my paint is pearl white so it stands out significantly and I think it makes the rear look more aggressive (even though its only a piece of plastic). Both accesories are well worth it to me my RDX stands out more because of the two. I would buy them again in the future.
