First day of snow and RDX AWD tested
First day of snow and RDX AWD tested
I live on a mountain hill community and yesterday, the temps dropped to 0C, and saw some light snow. Actually the snow was not really that heavy, but the 2cm of snow that stick to the ground was not an issue for the RDX AWD. As I turned corners, I could feel the AWD system preventing understeering, and pushing back on the intended track.
Even with the AWD, I made sure as I traversed down the hill road, I put the car in "2", and slowly drove down the hill. One thing I always keep in kind, the AWD system may have better traction through snow, but it does not stop any better than a regular car with ABS.

I also live in the Vancouver area and just purchased my RDX. We only got a light dusting in our area too but it felt good to know that we have better traction with the SH-AWD.
Seems like it might freeze over and that'll give us a chance to really test our cars. I'm very curious to know how it handles in moderately packed snow.

Boo Wild! Sorry, big Avs fan here We've just got our big snowstorm last week and the RDX did great! I especially love the heated seats for cold weather
