Door ding!

Picked my car up yesterday afternoon after it being in the parking lot at the airport for a week. Nice ding on the passenger door, high up on the crease where I can always see it.

Inconsiderate people bother me. :angryfire

Maybe it can be pulled out.

PDR!

Paintless Dent Removal...check with your insurance company, some will waive or reduce your deductible if you use PDR instead of going to a regular body shop.

The day I got my s2000 I got a door ding, another in about a month. Paintless dent repair took care of both of them for $99 in about 45 minutes. I keep this car inside and it is perfect, they did a great job,It does suck that it happenned to you!

Do you have the side molding?

That really sucks man. My sympathies...totally ruins your day when you see something like that happening to your car.

A question for everyone: Do the side mouldings really work? One of the other posters brought up a good point...they would work to prevent scratches if the other person's door is aligned with the moulding...but seeing how everyone's cars are different sizes and shapes, the chances of them doing much good nowadays is pretty slim isn't it?

I mean, have the mouldings ever saved anyone's doors from scratches?

I don't have the side moldings, but I don't think they would have helped here as it was pretty high. I think it was the rear side door of a large SUV that did it.

I'll check out the paintless dent repair, seems like many have successfully used it which is great.

They can help at certain door heights, but are not full protection,
