Cool down turbo

Do you just let turbo to cool down before shuts off the engine? I have been reading you have to let it idle for 30 sec or so before shuts off the engine.

I wouldn't shut off the engine *immediately* after pulling with wide open throttle, but a couple mins of casual driving should also allow the turbo to cool down.
