Check Emission Light

Check Emission Light
After changing air filter got Check Emission Light. Checked everything, everything is tight, took out MAF, it looks clean. I am reluctant spraying it with MAF cleaners, so I just blow some compressed air on it.
Still the light is on.... few days before I was getting "Tighten Fuel Cap", but then it went away even though the cap was tight....
Anyone experienced "Check Emission Light"? Should I disconnect battery, and see if it goes away.

Personally I would try disconnecting the battery to see if that gets rid of the light. If it does go away, and the comes back after a few days, you know something is up. I've never had the light come on, but those are the steps I would take.

Check that your battery cables are tight. Loose battery connections can throw all kinds of spurious codes; often the emissions message.
Also, try reading your diagnostic messages:
1. simultaneously press "Map/Guide" "Menu" and "Cancel" until it enters the Select Diagnosis Items screen.
2. click on XM (HIP) lower right, then XM (HIP) ECU to reach the Select Telematics Diagnosis screen.
3. six items should be displayed; choose number 3, Diagnostic Info
4. click on your trouble message to follow the prompts to delete it.

Anyhow, the light went away on its own.... maybe at one point I did not have MAF fully connected and it took a while to clear.

forgot to add this could be an o2 sensor problem if it doesn't go away.
