Costco is doing a sale on 5w30 Castrol Edge full synthetic that comes in a black bottle.
Mind you that this is NOT Castrol Edge Professional (comes in gold bottle) which is already HTO-6 certified.

Is it ok to use this black bottle version of Castrol Edge for our RDX? This version of Castrol Edge DOES NOT carry the HTO-6 certification.

From what I've gathered it should be OK so long as I stick to the regular oil change interval indicated by the MID, but I would appreciate any actual experience with this oil.

I've got a 09 RDX and so far I've been doing my oil change with Mobil 1 as directed by MID.
