bug stains on brushed chrome grill

Does anyone else see this? Where bugs have hit the brushed chrome part of the grill (not sure its really chrome), they are leaving a faint dark spot. I have wax on this and have used bug-b-gone to try to remove these darker spots, but they don't come off. The bugs come off easy with it waxed, but these faint dark stains are kinda weird....

Any suggestions on how to remove them?

Thanks in advance!

The spots where the bugs were may be similar to the water spot issue that Acura referenced in the October 06 Service Bulletin. See link below and open the PDF.

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=894

They advise several different spray waxes to get rid of the issue.

Great - thanks! I'm assuming Honda Spray Cleaner & Polish is the same as Acura Spray Cleaner and Polish? I have Honda, but not Acura....although its not made anymore unfortunately.

Thanks again - I'll try this.

I just used the Honda Spray Cleaner and it worked great at taking these "stains" off.

Thanks again for the tip.
