Broken side mirror blinker cover

A piece of flying debris broke my right mirror blinker cover (number 1 in the diagram above), and now there's water collecting inside.

The blinker still works, so it's only a matter of replacing the cover.
I have located the part (34300-STK-A01), but I wonder if it is doable as DIY.
Looks like it shouldn't be too hard to take the light cover apart.

I would appreciate any tip on how to replace the cover.
