Breaking in of RDX mechanicals

When I first got the RDX last April, after a week, I noticed the steering wheel making creaking sound everytime I turn it through 90 degrees both ways. Following the repair at the dealer, the sound seemed to had gone away, but then after a couple of days, it came back again.

Now, recently, the sound is gone again. I had thought it was because the weather had something to do with it, like the warm weather was helping with reducing the sound. But now, the cold weather came back, and the steering wheel is still quiet during normal operation.

So maybe this has to do with the car materials in having some sort of "breaking-in"? Weird...

My TSX also had this similar issue with the cabin rearview mirror, creaking all the time during the first few months of ownership. Right now, after 1 year, it has not been creaking at all...
