Brake Pad question

What do you guys think about Carbon Fiber-Ceramic brake pads?

I want to upgrade the front pads to increase stopping power. I intend to retain the OEM rotors as there is nothing wrong with them. Current front pads are almost new OEM pads replaced by the dealer when I bought the car.

I use to think ceramic pads didn't stop as well as metallic pads, but I think ceramic pad performance has improved though the years.
And the Carbon Fiber/Ceramic combination sounds like it would be good??

The thing to consider about carbon fiber and/or ceramic brake pads is while they *may* have a bit more stopping power when hot compared to OEM pads, they are also well known to not have the same initial bite on a cool rotor. Said another way, unless you spend your time on a track where the brakes stay nice and hot, your stopping distances may well be increased by using a ceramic pad.
