I have 2 bikes I need to carry....is the Acura roof rack my only option?

Are there any after market roof racks (thule or other)?

How about trunck/hatch mounted options?

How about an option to mount/carry them inside the cargo space?

Does anyone have any advice?

 

I've been looking into this and have talked with both Thule and Yakima customer service. You need the Acura rack, then you can either take the crossbars off and mount Thule or Yakima bars and mounts, or just mount the bike mounts to the Acura crossbars. They will hold up to 110 lbs. So lots of options.

I have had Thule racks for years, and currently have a Thule rack on my Pilot, attached to the factory rails. The exact setup would move over to the RDX.

Note: If you use the Thule or Yakima crossbars, you likely need a fairing (wind deflector) to reduce wind noise. Otherwise, the Acura crossbars are oval and make less noise, but then you need different bike mounts or adapters, to mount to the oval Acura crossbars.
