now i sometimes wonder what goes on in the RDX section of azine...im kinda curious how the truck drives. my parents just got a honda pilot and that has nice pickup with the 3.5. i was wondering how the RDX turbocharged engine is performance wise. ??

if any of you guys are looking for a great upgrade, it is a truck, and so i have a sports car available to you any performance addicts...2001 Acura 3.2CL with Comptech headers and CAI...trust me if you want a sports car, best move you can make for your RDX keeping it safe for the fam! i have low milage and second ownder from old lady...looking to sell by mid-summer and looking for local chicago people...

if not this, then im also wondering what other performance type mods can make owners more content. ??

 

Yes the Pilot does have good pickup for a 4000lb+ vehicle. The Rdx picks up very quick for a truck. A close friend of mine has a 2001 CL Type-S and the Rdx runs very similar if not slightly quicker.

The CL-S is a nice car, I wouldn't call it a "sports car" though

 

Acura did try to market the CL-S as a sports car. Look what happened to it

 

an accord, with an A on it, same as the old CL.

In any case, the 3.2CL engine is strong, but a for it's suspension, being a FWD, it is downright scary when trying to corner aggressively in that car... potent engine alone does not make a car a "sports car"...
