With weather getting better and it stopped snowing and raining. Had time to work on my custom exhaust. Notice my differential carriage looks odd. Am I missing a bushing? Big hole looks little weathered n rusted. Threads on the rear differential looks clean w little to no oxidation… what do you guys think?

 

That's how mine looks, but without the rust. It appears to be an in case one wasn't enough thing.

 

Yup mine is the same way. Maybe it’s for left hand versus right hand drivers?
