4800 Mile Road Trip

Just got back from North Dakota and Montana, annual kid/dad vacation. Glacier NP, Theodore Roosevelt NP, points in between; our first really long trip in the RDX. It ran flawlessly, and in the wide open western states turned triple digits for hours on end.

(*pounds of grasshopper corpses did seem to reduce AC function; it's better now I've sprayed them off the heat exchangers)

Other than the extra road noise, the RDX is excellent 4 season road-trip vehicle. I added a Yakima rocketbox to have more room. The RDX does have a very comfy upright seating position and good elbow rests for hours on the hwy driving.
